NOTES:

·         Hancock, suffering from nervous exhaustion, took an unannounced trip to Rome. Harry Secombe quickly stood in and the scripts were rewritten accordingly. Hancock reappeared for 'A Visit to Swansea'. None of Secombe's shows exist, unfortunately.

** Remade, slightly rewritten, for the BBC Transcription Services for sale abroad

The shows did not have 'official' titles. Galton & Simpson did give their scripts vague names as reminders, but this list gives more appropriate titles, from Tony Hancock - 'Artiste' by Roger Wilmut. Some are Wilmut's own, some titles are those used in Radio Times at the time.

The episodes in bold were retained by the BBC.

·         Series 1, 2, 3, & 4 are now available as complete CD sets (of existing episodes only) from the BBC Shop at http://www.bbcshop.com/
