Hancock, suffering from nervous exhaustion, took an
unannounced trip to Rome. Harry Secombe quickly stood in and the scripts were
rewritten accordingly. Hancock reappeared for 'A Visit to Swansea'. None of
Secombe's shows exist, unfortunately.

Remade, slightly rewritten, for the BBC Transcription Services for sale
abroad
The shows did not have 'official' titles. Galton & Simpson did give
their scripts vague names as reminders, but this list gives more appropriate
titles, from Tony Hancock - 'Artiste' by Roger Wilmut. Some are
Wilmut's own, some titles are those used in Radio Times at the time.
The episodes in bold were retained by the BBC.
