The Cambridge Explorer is an interactive CD-ROM, which allows the user to Explore

                Cambridge throughout the last century and before. There are over 1,000 photographs dating

                from 1870 to the present day, 3 interactive maps for Cambridge for 1904, 1924 and 1949

and finally there is a fully indexed street directory for 1904 with links to a complete facsimile.

 

No family or local historian with Cambridge interests should be with out this excellent source

                This 2nd CD-ROM in a series of Explorer CD-ROM’s covers the entire Old County of Cambridgeshire.

It will have over 1,650 photographs, with 1,000 being contributed by the Cambridgeshire Collection.

There will be maps and the entire Kelly’s 1904 Directory of Cambridgeshire will have been fully indexed

and linked to the scanned pages of the original directory.

 

                This will be the most comprehensive photographic guide to Cambridgeshire ever produced.
