Park
Street, Chatteris (early 1900s)
There are 189 locations from the “old” county of Cambridgeshire included on the CD-ROM.
Every location covered has at least 5 photographs. The larger locations have many more. Cambridge & Ely have 50 photographs.
Included for Cambridge are approximately 50 photographs taken by CGM Hatfield of Bottisham. These are mostly taken in the 1930s and depict a changing face of Cambridge. Including the building sites (either before or during the building work) of Sussex Street, Market Hill, Christ’s Lane and Silver Street (Queen’s College - west of the river). Most of these photographs haven’t been seen since they were taken
